HANDOVER OF BOITEKONG 2 SECONDARY SCHOOL
An estimated amount of 41m was spent to build Boitekong 2 secondary school that entails new facilities such as, ablution blocks each with toilet, new classrooms, a fully furnished kitchen for the NSNP programme and four laboratories for Physical sciences, Life sciences, Mathematics and Library.

Matsemela expressed the province’s readiness approach include provision for boarding school hostels with mobile hostels in order to comply with social distancing. On the other hand the department saught to repair schools that were vandalised during the lockdown.

MEC MATSEMELA CONVEYS MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCES TO THE LATE MEC JACK

FORMER NW DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SUPERINTENDENT – GENERAL DIES
The North West Department of Education MEC, Mmapefo Matsemela received with sadness the demise of the former Superintendent-General, Dr Itumeleng Samuel Molale who died on Sunday, 09 August 2020 after a long illness at a Medi Clinic Heart hospital in Pretoria.
