Winners: Inkal Oral History Provincial Rounds

The North West Department of Education is proud to announce the conclusion of the Inkal Oral History Provincial Rounds. After a series of rigorous competitions, the Department is delighted to announce the winners who will proceed to the national rounds.
The following learners and educator have emerged victorious in their respective categories:
Category A:
– Special School: Ofentse Makena from Reoleboge Special School in Bojanala district
– Grade 8: Karabo Mafete from Sol Plaatjie Secondary School in Ngaka Modiri Molema district
– Grade 9: Zion Mosiane from Potch Secondary School in Dr Kenneth Kaunda district
– Grade 10: Katlego Mosimane from Vryburg High School in Dr Ruth S. Mompati district
– Grade 11: Oarabile Molefe from Lichtenburg English Secondary School in Ngaka Modiri Molema district
– Grade 11 (G20): Magadi Monnakgorong from Vryburg High School in Dr Ruth S Mompati
– Educator: Keorapetse Moaloshi from Molebatsi Secondary School in Bojanala district
Category B:
– Letter Writing: Olorato Molosankwe doing Grade 9 at Sol Plaatjie Secondary School in Ngaka Modiri Molema district
– Storytelling: Omaatla Jama also doing Grade 9 at Tiger Kloof Combined School in Dr Ruth S Mompati
– Story Writing: Tshiamo Majaja from Reboneilwe Secondary School in Ngaka Modiri Molema district
– Poetry (Special School): Refilwe Ramodia from Christiana School for the Blind in Dr Ruth S Mompati
– Poetry (Mainstream African): Grade 8 Naledi Rampai from Thutotsebo Secondary School in Dr Kenneth Kaunda district
– Poetry (Mainstream Western): Grade 8 Didintle Lebudi from Mmusi Moroka Royal Academy in Bojanala
