The Education MEC, Viola Motsumi, has expressed her deep disappointment following the fire incident at Kgamanyane Secondary School.
“This is a serious setback to the school community, and these acts are efforts which undermine education infrastructure in the province and cannot be tolerated. I want to assure the school management, learners, parents, and the broader community that the Department will provide the necessary support to ensure that teaching and learning continues without any disruption”, said MEC Motsumi.
MEC Motsumi further called on law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the matter and urged community members to come forward with any information that may assist in identifying those responsible.
