The Grade 12 learners are preparing to sit for their Preliminary Examinations, while Chief Invigilators are undergoing training to ensure the effective and professional management of the examinations.

The Province is also preparing to host the Provincial Teachers Awards ceremony, which recognises and celebrates the dedication, commitment and outstanding contributions of educators across the sector. These initiatives, together with various programmes and interventions aimed at improving the Department’s overall performance and learner results, will require strong leadership, coordination and collaboration from all stakeholders.

The entire Department wishes MEC Dr Desbo Mohono well as she takes up her responsibilities and looks forward to a constructive and productive working relationship aimed at advancing education in the North West.
